This beautiful pot has been handcrafted and hand-painted to make it a perfect addition to your collection. The muted clay color is enhanced with a soft black matte and rust geometric design on the shoulder, accented with the engraved tooth design around the outside throat. This pot stands 6" tall, 10" wide with a mouth opening of 4". The pot is formed by patting out a 'tortilla' shape which is then pressed into a plaster or clay bowl. That's how the traditional rounded bottom is formed. Hand-rolled coils are added, pinched, and smoothed until the pot takes form. The bottom of this pot is signed by the artist, Mario Olivas. All Native American items are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
