Rodney Coriz of the Santo Domingo Pueblo in New Mexico, has beautifully crafted this cross with inlaid pieces of mother-of-pearl surrounding accents of jet, spiny oyster, lapis, sugilite, and turquoise. This lovely piece measures 3 3/4" long from top of bail. The cross itself measures 2 3/4" by 1 5/8" wide, and is 1/4" thick. All stones are artfully set in sterling silver, while the solid silver back is hallmarked with his signature and symbol. The necklace is graduated disks of shell. The handcrafted silver bead on the necklace matches the sterling silver ends and the hook and eye closure. The silver beads finish off the ends of the necklace that measures 18" long. The shell disks are hand-honed and the sizes range from 3-9 mm. The silver beads are 3/4" long. Each item by a Native American artist is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
