This Charoite Bracelet by Navajo Artist Wilson Begay is an outstanding example of fine Native American Indian Wearable Art! It features a large center oval cabochon of natural Charoite and it is accented on each side with heart shaped Charoite stones and then another set of oval stones. All the stones are set in sawtooth bezels set onto the Sterling Silver Cuff. Large Sterling Dots separate each setting. The solid Sterling scalloped shaped Cuff has also been hand engraved to showcase the cuff. It weighs 64 grams and is marked with Wilson Begay mark Hat over WB. Charoite comes from an area in Russia and was named for the Chara River. Reportedly discovered in the 1940’s it was not widely known until 1978.
