This large and vibrant Lander Blue Turquoise nugget is set in a deep solid 14k Gold Bezel. It is enhanced with Gold flowers and leaves. It hangs freely from a large 14k Gold Pendant which has larger flowers and leaves. This is a spectacular piece of Native American Indian Art from the 1970's. It measures 2 7/8 inches long and 1 1/8 inch wide and weighs a solid 21 grams! It is marked 78 for the year it is signed Nalwood. The piece of Lander Turquoise in this Pendant is spectacular and the stone itself is 3/4 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. A piece of jewelry like this does not come along very often!! This Pendant was actually made by Boyd Tsosie but was signed by his cousin. In the early seventies people were wanting jewelry signed and this piece was in an established store in Scottsdale, where Nalwood worked as a silversmith. Boyd had made it for the store. Probably someone said “I’ll buy it if the artist signs it“ and since they were in the same family.....it is now signed.
